Danish butter cookies -Melt in your mouth

It has been sometime since I last shared a recipe... After my post on butter cookies semalam , a few friends and fb likes minta share recipe I guna . Oh there are thousands on the internet and it is just a matter of picking one that you like the most. and not too complicated to make.In the era of information you can be spoilt for choices... so no secret recipe is so secret...

I have tried a few recipe for butter cookies and I have decided to use this one ( less fuss yet so sedap). Most importantly mesti guna good butter...biar mahal sikit...you can tell the difference bila guna  cheap butter berbanding dengan  yang mahal...bau pun dah lain...

Ok.. for those yang nak jimat masa raya ni..bake your own cookies...they are not as hard as you think... boleh hias butter cookies ni with coloured sugar, chocolate drizzle..hundred thousand etc...if you want it to taste chocolaty... add in 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to the recipe... Happy baking...
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
     200g Soft butter - SCS/ Anchor  butter   very soft butter
 
 
 
 
 
     320g Plain flour - 2 3/4 cup sifted
 
 
 
 
 
     130g Icing sugar - sifted - 1 1/4 cup
 
 
 
 
 
     2 tbsp Vanilla extract
 
 
 
 
 
     1 egg ( 60gm) - lightly beaten
 
 
Mix semua sampai lembut ( tak payah fikir nak masuk mana dulu... gaul je semua sampai sebati & lembut ), fill in dalam piping bag and pipe it out dengan your favourite nozzle... kalau nak yang mcm kat atas  guna nozzle open star..( Goggle You Tube - How to make Danish butter cookies...)..Bake at 150 deg ( upper lower heat + fan ) for 10 min....
